Michael "Tony" Thigpen to appear in court again in January

RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. (WBKO) - An Auburn man charged with manslaughter in the death of his
five-month-old daughter has his pretrial conference postponed until January.

According to the Logan County Circuit Court Clerk's Office, Michael Anthony Thigpen will undergo a psychiatric evaluation before his next court hearing.

Thigpen is charged with manslaughter, three counts of wanton endangerment, neglect, and tampering with evidence.

The sheriff's department found the five-month-old dead at the residence on June 10.
