One arrested, one shot after police say they unlawfully entered an Edmonson County home

BROWNSVILLE, Ky. (WBKO) - A man is shot after police say he unlawfully entered a home in Edmonson County.

Kentucky State Police say two men went to a home on Rocky Hill School Road to confront a juvenile. Police say they unlawfully entered the home and had a confrontation with the 17 year-old. Police say the teen got a shotgun and fired it at one of the men, hitting him in the abdomen.

According to KSP Master Trooper BJ Eaton, the suspects left, but were later found at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.

"The male that received the gunshot wound was admitted to the hospital, as of last night he was listed in critical but stable condition. The other male, through investigation, was subsequently arrested and charged with burglary, 1st degree," Trooper Eaton stated.

The man who was not shot was 38-year-old Aaron Miller of Brownsville. He was arrested and taken to the Hart County Jail where he was charged with Burglary 1st Degree, sitting on a cash bond of 15,000 dollars.

No other details have been released at this time.
