Rain fell in Bowling Green for a second straight day as thunderstorms rolled through around midday on Thursday. The possibility for some heavy downpours continues as we go throughout your Friday; however, shower activity will diminish as we head into the latter part of the day. As the front over our region washes out over the weekend, the chances for rain go down, with just a few isolated thundershowers possible Saturday and Sunday. Highs will top out in the mid to upper 80s through the weekend. At this time, Monday and Tuesday appear mainly dry before storm chances climb again toward the middle of next week.
