Slone murder case goes to Grand Jury

ALBANY, Ky. (WBKO) -- Travis Slone's murder case is going to the grand jury. The Clinton Circuit Court says the commonwealth met its burden of proof that there is enough probable cause to send the case to the grand jury.

Slone is accused of shooting and killing 53-year-old James Guffey, the son of Albany Police Chief Ernest Guffey, September 12. The judge left Slone's bond at $1 million dollars cash due to the nature of the offense and the danger to the public.
