Squeezing the most out of summer

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- What to do on the last day of summer vacation. Some folks to advantage of the beautiful weather and close proximity of Lost River Cave.

And you didn't have to enter the cave to have a good time. You could hike the trails, hear a nature talk, or just plain PLAY! One last "Hurrah" before getting the school supplies, the clothes, and getting back in the swing of school.

"Well my son actually works at Mammoth Cave," said Sandy Mefford, "and we've never stopped here. We go there all the time but we've never really stopped here so. Close to home and quick to get to, y'know. Fun for the little ones."

Most area schools are opening up for classes on August 9, so kids, you have one week to squeeze in all the rest of your summer fun.
