ELKTON, Ky. (WBKO) -- A teenager lands in a juvenile detention center and is charged with making threats towards Todd County Central High School.
Kentucky State Police say a 16-year-old threatened to shoot up and bomb the school.
After interviewing several students troopers determined the teenager had used social media to make threats toward another teenager and toward the school.
Troopers say the boy admitted saying he was going to shoot another teenager and did make threats to bomb the high school.
He also said he was only joking.
Officials say he also had marijuana and drug paraphernalia he was taken to the McCracken Regional Juvenile Detention Center.
