Tennessee trio jailed for drugs and weapons

ROCKY HILL, Ky. (WBKO) -- Edmonson County Sheriff's Deputies arrest three Tennesseans on drug and weapons charges. While conducting a road safety checkpoint, deputies and state troopers noticed a forged temporary license plate on a 2013 Chevy Cruze.

They also caught Jason Long of Red Boiling Springs with a suspended drivers license. And when they searched the car, they found a pistol, bags of meth, scales, and cash.

Long and his passengers, Etta Coffelt and Kaitlynn Law, both of Lafayette Tennessee, are all charged with carrying a concealed weapon and trafficking in meth. They were taken to the Hart County Jail.
