Travis Slone pleads guilty to Manslaughter 2nd

ALBANY, Ky. (WBKO) - The man charged with killing the son of Albany's police chief pleaded guilty to an amended charge of Manslaughter 2nd.

According to the Clinton County Circuit Court Clerk's Office, Travis Slone agreed to a sentence of seven years in the death of 53-year-old James Guffey and the Commonwealth is opposed to probation.

Slone's final sentencing is December 7 at 9:00 am.
