Two men land behind bars on several charges in Hart County

The Hart County Sheriff's Department arrest two men at a residence on Walnut Street.

Police say Andre Goodman was arrested because he had been indicted in 2015 and was entered in the NCIC as a fugitive from justice for the following charges, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, wanton endangerment, tampering with physical evidence, terroristic threatening, theft by unlawful taking or disposition all others under $500.00 and alcohol intoxication.

Goodman was also served two Hart County Bench Warrants for contempt of court on original charges of alcohol intoxication in a public place and trafficking a controlled substance less than 20 drug units.

Goodman was taken to the Hart County Jail in lieu of a $20,755.00 cash bond.

Officials also arrested Andraeus Curry on a Harty County Bench Warrant for contempt of court at the same residence.

Police say both arrests were made as a result of the anonymous tip to the sheriff's office.
