Two people are behind bars following a traffic checkpoint in Hartford

HARTFORD, Ky. (WBKO) -- Two people are behind bars on drug related charges following a traffic safety checkpoint in Hartford.

During the checkpoint, Kentucky State Police and the Ohio County Sheriff's Office came in contact with 24 year old Alex Bowles of Louisville, and 27 year old Chasity Jaggers of Louisville.

After an investigation, troopers and deputies found both Bowles and Jaggers to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine and related drug paraphernalia.

Both Bowles and Jaggers are behind bars in the Ohio County Detention Center on a laundry list of charges.
