***...BITTER COLD START TO THE NEW YEAR...***

MORE arctic air moved in for New Year's Eve! Highs struggled to get out of the 10s and low 20s for both the final day of the old year and will struggle again for the first day of 2018. Lows could plunge into the single digits both Sunday and Monday night. Yet another shot of bitter cold air arrives toward the middle of next week. For the snow lovers, keep the patience - the only chance for any precipitation may come in the form of rain changing to light snow Sunday.
