...WINTER STORM WARNING FRIDAY THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING FOR MOST OF SOUTH-CENTRAL KY...

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR COUNTIES EAST OF GLASGOW THROUGH 6AM SATURDAY...

Winter has roared back into the region with rain changing to freezing rain and sleet before going to snow. Expect the switch from rain to freezing rain to take place around daybreak Friday for Bowling Green (sooner west, later east). We expect the changeover to snow to occur around or just after midday. The potential is there for significant accumulations of freezing rain, sleet, and snow with this system (2-4" of snow, up to 1/4" of ice). Travel will become hazardous as Friday progresses. The upcoming weekend will bring us a return to some of the cold air we experienced last week!

ANOTHER SNOW? Models are in agreement for yet another chance for snow and even colder temperatures arriving Monday into early Tuesday.
