BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce is celebrating 27 years of providing jobs and income to south central Kentucky through the industrial development of the Kentucky Transpark and the South Central Kentucky Industrial Park.
The totals of the two industrial sites show a combined 6,016 jobs created, with a total income of $333.2 million.
"Everyone who's here today," said Warren County Judge-Executive Mike Buchanon, "had a part in bringing these facilities to fruition and making sure the assets were there."
The chamber says the success of the two industrial parks is due to the work of a lot of people. They say they're proud of the past 27 years, and look forward to the next 27.
