BOWLING GREEN, Ky (WBKO) -- Warren County school officials hosted an open meeting tonight at Warren Central High School to discuss the newly proposed boundaries.
The addition of Jennings Elementary, a new school scheduled to open at the beginning of next school year, will create new boundary lines that determine where students in Warren County attend school.
Tonight's meeting, open to the public, allowed community members to voice their thoughts and opinions on the two new districts that are proposed.
Warren County Superintendent Rob Clayton said, "From here the board will have the opportunity to review the feedback, potentially make some changes. We want to get it right and the way to get it right is to solicit that feedback."
He later added that the two proposals aren't the only options. He added that it could be a combination of both.
The board will vote on the new boundaries sometime near January and the plan will take effect at the start of the 2018-19 school year.
