Temperatures finally warmed above freezing Monday for the first time in five days! The warming trend continues through mid-week, but things also turn windy...and wet. Shower chances pick up early afternoon Tuesday and Tuesday night. South winds may gust over 30 mph at times late Tuesday. A frontal boundary meandering over the region keeps things unsettled through Wednesday. Readings climb from the 50s Tuesday into the 60s Wednesday into Thursday. Things stay unsettled into the weekend and beyond as a battle zone between warmth and the arctic sets up right on top of the Ohio Valley. We look to stay on the warm side through at least Monday, with rainy periods persisting into early next week, as well.
