The Western Kentucky football program received a verbal commitment Wednesday from Cardavion Myers.

Myers is a 6-foot, 175-pound cornerback from Piedmont, Ala. He's considered a two-star prospect who reportedly holds scholarship offers from Liberty, Middle Tennessee, Southern Mississippi, Troy, Alabama Birmingham, Appalachian State, South Alabama, Toledo and Tulane.
At Piedmont High School, Myers played both cornerback and quarterback. He was 41 of 65 for 896 yards and 13 touchdowns to go along with 1,071 yards rushing and six scores. Myers made eight tackles in limited time on defense this season after making 60 tackles and four interceptions in 2016.
Myers is the 22nd member of the 2018 signing class for WKU.
