The Western Kentucky basketball program has signed four players toward its 2018 recruiting class.
Here's a look at how their seasons are going at their respective schools:
Junior forward Matthew Horton: Signed with Western Kentucky in November, had 10 rebounds, six points and two blocks in Shelton State’s season-opening win over Talladega Prep. Shelton (2-0) also beat Itawamba Community College on Thursday.
Junior guard Trevelin Queen: Signed with Western Kentucky in November, averaging 23.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists in four games for the New Mexico Military Institute. Queen is shooting 39.3 percent from the floor and 28.6 percent from 3 for the Broncos (2-3).
Freshman guard Jeremiah Gambrell: Signed with Western Kentucky in November, Gambrell and Madison High in Houston, Texas open the season against Wisdom High School on Friday.
Freshman forward Galen Smith: Signed with Western Kentucky in November, Smith and Kahuku High and Intermediate School in Honolulu, Hawaii open their season later this month.
Freshman center Cameron Fini: Committed to WKU in August and plans to join the Hilltoppers as a walk-on. Fini and Valley Christian High School in San Jose, Calif., open their season Nov. 18 against Salesian College Prep.
