Pendleton County junior Allen visits WKU

Pendleton County junior Dontaie Allen visited Western Kentucky on Saturday to watch the Hilltoppers play Southern Mississippi.

Allen is a 6-foot-4, 180-pound guard and considered a three-star prospect by 247sports. He reportedly holds scholarship offers from Eastern Kentucky, Northern Kentucky, Winthrop, Morehead State and Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis. Allen also visited WKU in March.

In 12 games for PCHS this season, Allen is scoring 30.3 points per game and shooting 63.9 percent from the field. He’s also pulling in 10.3 rebounds per game.

As a sophomore Allen scored 29.1 per game to go along with 12.2 rebounds per contest.

Allen was named one of the top 25 players in the state by the Louisville Courier-Journal and was an all-state selection by both the C-J and Cincinnati Enquirer.
