On Wednesday, former Western Kentucky coach Jeff Brohm was reportedly considering leaving Purdue for Tennessee. But later in the day further reports surfaced that confirmed Brohm would stay in West Lafayette, Ind.

Brohm left WKU after the 2016 season and a 30-10 record with the Hilltoppers. His teams won two straight Conference USA championships and three straight bowl games, although the coach was not on the sidelines for the 2016 Boca Raton Bowl win over Memphis.

The former Louisville quarterback guided Purdue to a 6-6 record this year after signing a six-year contract worth $3.3 million per year.
