Devan Cambridge, a junior at Believe Sports Academy in Athens, Tenn., visited Western Kentucky on Thursday.
Cambridge is a 6-foot-6 forward who was named the Main Street Media of Tennessee Sumner County boys’ basketball player of the year after playing for Pope John Paul II High School (Hendersonville, Tenn.) in 2016-17. Ranked the No. 11 overall player in the state of Tennessee by HoopSeen.com last year, Cambridge scored 16.5 points per game to go along with 6.4 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game despite missing 12 games due to injury.
This season for BSA he's had games of 28, 35, 39, 41, 30 and 25 points.
Reportedly offered by Georgia Tech and Austin Peay and recruited by Tennessee, South Carolina and Auburn, Cambridge’s brother Desmond Cambridge played at The Ensworth School in Nashville and is now a freshman at Brown.
