Western Kentucky basketball signee Galen Smith III is a McDonald's All American Game nominee, the organization announced Wednesday.
A 6-foot-10 forward from Mississippi, Smith is playing his senior year at Kahuku High School where he's averaging 18.5 points per game for the Red Raiders (18-3).
Smith signed with WKU in November. He averaged 13.8 points, 8.7 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game and was named the Sun Herald's All-South Mississippi player of the year.
