ABOUT STATION:

WBKO Television broadcasts signals for ABC, FOX and CW. We are the dominant local news leader offering four hours of news daily. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide content for daily live newscast as well as mobile
platforms.
• Works to gather and edit compelling video and sound.
• Develop a network of sources.
• Contribute pictures, video and text updates to mobile platforms
consistently throughout the day.
• Other responsibilities, including producing a live newscast, as
needed

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Candidate must possess strong verbal and written communication
skills including excellent news writing and visual story-telling
ability.
• Creativity a must.
• Should be able to work with news crew to deliver the best live
show possible under the daily pressure of live news production.
• Previous experience preferred.
• College degree in journalism or equivalent combination of
education and experience preferred.
