Crime Stoppers needs your help.

Bowling Green Police are investigating an attempted robbery at a local restaurant.

On Tuesday night, December 4, 2007 at approximately 10:00 p.m. the owner of Shake Rag Reed’s Restaurant was closing up and leaving the business when he was approached by two males.

One of the suspects was a black male wearing a dark baseball hat, a red bandanna around the bottom half of his face and a dark hooded jacket armed with a baseball bat.

The suspect demanded the owner’s checkbook he had in his hand.

As the victim reached into his pocket the two suspects took off running toward Center Street on Third Avenue.

The suspects didn’t get any property and police were unable to locate them. Investigators are hoping someone has information about these two robbers that will take them off the streets before they try to strike again.

If you know anything about this attempted robbery please call Crime Stoppers at 781-CLUE or click here.

You could get up to $1,000 for your anonymous tip.
