Police officers from the city of Bowling Green and Western Kentucky University are investigating a number of recent vandalism complaints.

Someone is splattering graffiti all over downtown Bowling Green.

See if you can help police pinch these painting Picassos in this week's Crime of the Week.

Graffiti is spreading through downtown Bowling Green like wildfire.

Over the past three weeks, city police and WKU police have received more than fifty complaints of graffiti or "tagging."

It has spread throughout the downtown area - splashed on buildings, dumpsters, signs, and construction sites.

Police have tracked the vandalism from the bypass, all the way to the railroad tracks.

And they want you to know graffiti is not art.

Graffiti is a crime that costs communities thousands of dollars to clean up.

If allowed to remain, it sends a message that the community is un-concerned about its appearance.

Police are hoping you can help put a stop to this vandalism.

If you know anything about this malicious destruction of personal property, please call Crime Stoppers at 781-CLUE.

You could get up to one-thousand dollars for your anonymous tip.

Remember, Crime Stoppers calls are not recorded and they do not use caller ID.

They just want your information, not your name!

You could be the one to help police grab this grafitti gang!

If you know anything about this theft, please call Crime Stoppers at 781-CLUE, or click here.

You could get up to $1,000 for your anonymous tip.
