Sometime during the day of Wednesday October 14, a home in the 3500 block of Garrett Hollow Road was burglarized.

Once inside, the burglar(s) stole a handgun, jewelry, and an arrowhead and stone collection.

One-hundred-sixty-one arrowheads, spearheads, and stone figures were taken from the home. Many of the pieces in pristine condition.

Just last month, the stolen handgun was recovered, reportedly sold at the Leitchfield Flea Market in Grayson County.

Authorities are hoping someone may have seen or heard about the large collection of artifacts.
