Investigators are expected to make an announcement today regarding the cause of an Owensboro fire.

A visitation will be held this afternoon as well for four people whose lives were lost in a fire.

Wendy Devine, her two children Ryan and Jerry, and her father Jerry Marsh died last Friday morning in their house on Parrish Avenue.

The Owensboro Fire Department said last week that the fire may have been smoking related and that it appeared the fire started in a large chair near the rear door.

Owensboro residents have planned fundraisers for the family.
