"Daddy," the girls screamed as they saw their father.
An emotional reunion when Sergeant Kevin Keith returns home from Afghanistan and surprises his kids at school.
"I missed my daddy when he was away," says Kaitlyn Keith, who is six years old.
The sergeant hugged and kissed his three daughters, Addison, Hailey, and Kaitlyn for the first time in a year at Central City Elementary.
"I love my daddy," says Addison Keith, who is five years old.
Keith, who is in the Kentucky National Guard, voluntarily deployed to Afghanistan last year.
"I always wanted to deploy and just get the experience and at the same time, be able to provide for my family and kids," says Sergeant Keith.
While there, he was part of the security force for an agribusiness team as they worked with locals.
And now he gets to draw pictures with his daughters.
"I'm happy to see my daddy," says Hailey Keith, who is four years old.
The time away was hard on his wife of eight years, who says she took some time off from college to act as mommy and daddy.
"Very worried, a lot of sleepless nights, I actually got on his time schedule so I would be up all night and sleep while the kids were at school," says Terri Keith.
The two are now looking forward to restarting their lives together again.
"We're wanting to fix up the house some since I'm back and get the kids outside since it's nice outside and spend some time with them," says Sergeant Keith.
The Sergeant also gives credit to his wife for all her support.
"I say her job was harder than mine to tell you the truth, taking care of all the kids," says Sergeant Keith.
These little girls are just happy to have daddy back home.
The sergeant has served in the army for six years and as you can imagine, is glad to be back home.
