LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) -- The Lexington-Fayette County Health Department wants to help educate the public about the spread of the flu.

A statement on Tuesday said the Flu Outreach Response Team is a group designed to speak to the community about seasonal and swine flu.

Health department spokesman Kevin Hall says the team provides the health department the opportunity to sit down with Lexington residents and provide answers about the flu. He said it should help calm any fears.

The flu team will speak to groups of 10 or more people.
