A handful of Barren River district counties have already helped fight the flu by vaccinating their residents against H1N1.
Now Logan County is doing the same.
On Thursday, health officials in Russellville vaccinated hundreds of priority group members in the county.
Those include pregnant women, children and young adults, and people living with chronic health problems.
More than 300 residents are safer now from the H1N1 virus.
"It's gone very smooth," said Logan Co. Health Dept. Coordinator, Kelly Lyne.
"We had a rush early at 8:00 and then again at 1:00, but everyone had an appointments and where in and out fast."
This was the only vaccination clinic scheduled for Logan County.
But other areas in the Barren River district have clinics planned.
Remember, these are appointment-only events.
