Despite the snow, many people ventured out to the health expo at the Sloan Convention Center.
Even with the frigid weather, several people were able to get free health screenings, like body fat compositions, blood pressure checks, and of course, free knowledge.
"I think it's a testament to this event and how popular it's become over the years," said Doris Thomas, with Commonweath Health Coproration, "and people look forward to it. It's at the beginning of the year, january, when a lot of people make their resolutions, and a lot of those are related to health."
Almost 75 booths were set up, And plenty of door prizes handed out. This is the 13th year the expo has been sponsored by The Medical Center and WBKO.
