Another prominent Kentucky politician is sounding off on a race in another state but one that's sure to have a national impact.
Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell says Americans spoke up last night when they voted Republican Scott Brown into the U.S. Senate.
Brown who defeated Democratic challenger and Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley will take over the late Ted Kennedy's Senate seat.
He plans to head to Washington Thursday. McConnell says the win speaks loudly across America.
Now Senate Democrats won't have the 60 votes necessary to prevent a GOP filibuster which could derail the Health Care Reform Bill.
Massachusetts had not elected a Republican Senator in 38 years.
