Kentucky House Speaker Greg Stumbo, today accused a state agency of stonewalling lawmakers seeking details about a Medicaid managed care program.

Stumbo says House leaders requested more information from the Cabinet for Health and Family Services about the Passport Health Plan as part of the budget deliberations.

He says lawmakers want to know whether the program is cost effective for the state and if the program should be expanded.
