A southern Kentucky man is charged with murder after police say he intentionally drove his car into the path of another vehicle killing the other driver.

Somerset police say Justin Litton, 36, was charged Monday in the crash that killed Levi Stephens, 33, of Somerset.

Police say a deputy had just begun a pursuit of Litton's vehicle Saturday night when the crash occurred, and it was recorded by a camera on his cruiser.

Somerset Police Department Lt. Shannon Smith said the video shows Litton intentionally caused the collision, which occurred hours after Litton's family had reported him to be suicidal.

Stevens was pronounced dead at a local hospital. Litton was in "fair" condition on Monday at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.
