BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- While the $360 million Powerball jackpot was not hit in Wednesday night’s drawing, there was a ticket worth $1,000,000 sold in Kentucky.
The Kentucky Lottery office in Louisville says the $1,000,000 ticket matched all five numbers, but not the Powerball in the May 15th drawing.
The winning numbers were: 2 – 11 – 26 – 34 – 41 and the Powerball was 32.
The winning ticket was sold at Smitty’s on 1601 N. Logsdon Pkwy. in Radcliff. The retailer will receive $10,000 for selling the winning ticket.
Officials say there were also five $10,000 winning tickets sold in Kentucky in last night’s drawing. They were sold at The Country Pantry in Taylorsville, Ramp B in Staffordsville and JC's Cigarette Outlet #2, Jayz Liquors and Speedway #9655 in Louisville.
The Powerball jackpot for Saturday night's drawing has just been raised to $550 million, with a cash option of $350.1 million. This is the second-largest jackpot ever offered by the game.
