Lack of Fuel Causes Tenn. Plane Crash

A lack of fuel caused a corporate plane to crash into a Tennessee shopping center on Sept. 19.

That's according to Daren Turner, one of the four people aboard the plane that crashed in Chattanooga.

Authorities are still investigating, but Turner said the aircraft's control lights turned on and off and then the engine sputtered before going silent.

He added that the plane had not been refueled before its return flight to Kentucky from Birmingham, Alabama.

Turner suffered two broken vertebrae and was released from the hospital on Sept. 24.

All four men are expected to make a full recovery.
