Kentucky's attorney general releases a new DUI manual to help police in their fight against drunk driving.
The manual comes after months of research on current strategies in DUI prosecution.
Attorney General Greg Stumbo said the manual will help prosecutors in what can be a very difficult task.
"The laws are complicated. They're strict, but they're complicated in the way the interact with each other. So what we attempted to do was put together a manual which will allow our prosecutors to reference when they have unusual fact situations."
State officials say last year more than 25,000 people were convicted of DUI crimes in Kentucky.
