The first Japanese-affiliated industry to locate in Bowling Green receives a prestigious award.
NASCO was named the 2007 "Industry of the Year" by the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce on Oct. 1.
NASCO located in Bowling Green in 1986 and employs 200 people.
The facility supplies automotive coil springs, trunk lid torsion bars and stabilizer links for a number of vehicles built in North America.
NASCO's projected sales for 2007 are $110-million.
The company will be recognized at the Chamber's Industry Appreciation Banquet Oct. 25.
