Italy has its Leaning Tower of Pisa and Kentucky has its "leaning tower of Sand Gap."
The Jackson County leaner is a water tower that was recently constructed at the site of a former quarry off U.S. 421.
Officials are concerned the Kentucky tower might fall on someone.
In its present condition, it's not being used for water storage.
A state highway official says the tower was built on a hillside and is sinking about one inch-per-hour.
A detour has been put in place to keep motorists away from the area.
