The student has not been at school since Sept. 27.
Letters were sent home to parents about the illness.
The letter from the Lincoln Trail District Health Dept. confirms the Grayson County Health Dept. is investigating the case of E.coli.
The letter says there is no need to panic, but that their child may have been exposed to the infection.
In Sept., two Kindergartners from Auburn Elementary were hospitalized at Vanderbilt with E.coli.
It's not known if the Grayson County student is hospitalized or not.
