While summer vacation may be over, some area children are still getting the chance to spend their days at the pool.
The Barren County is giving free swim lessons to area schools. Twenty schools are taking their fourth grade lessons to the YMCA for a week at a time.
Swim instructors are giving lessons on diving, swimming safety, and the different types of swimming strokes. Teachers say the students look forward to the week all year.
