The Edmonton-Metcalfe County
Sesquicentennial Celebration kicks off tomorrow.

It commemorates 150 years.

This weekend will be filled with exciting events from free concerts, to just good ole' fashion fun.

Apart of the celebration a person will place his belongings in a time capsule in the ground and bury them.

Chairman of the event says there will be more activities for everyone to enjoy this weekend.

"We have just alot of fun games, alot of booths, old-time displays. High School Reunion from 1957 to 1998, a community wide church service, picnic on the grounds. We're going to cover this whole lawn with quilts and picnic baskets on Sunday," said Jessie Crabtree.

Crabtree also mentions the time capsule will not be dug up until 2060.
