Police discovered a body of a dead man in Brandenburg while investigating a shooting between two Louisville brothers.

Louisville police arrested 43-year-old Jeffrey Lay after they say he shot his brother in the head.

Lay was charged with attempted murder and his brother is recovering at a hospital.

Lay then told police about another shooting in Brandenburg.

Troopers found the body of 53-year-old Danny Embry in Brandenburg.

State police are investigating Embry's death.

Lay was wanted on charges of second-degree robbery and second-degree escape from Louisville metro community corrections center.
