Just days before the ninth anniversary of 9-11, heightened emotions have been seen both here and abroad.

On Sunday, New Yorkers took to the streets once again to protest against the proposed Islamic center near ground zero.

Those protesting against the mosque did not include TV evangelist Bill Keller.

The pastor says that he is fine with the mosque, if those building it want to quote "preach the lies of Islam"

The scene included others who fully opposed the mosque.

"If you are a mother or a father and you have children, how can you possibly want to build a mosque and dance on the graves of the children who were lost on 9-11 (applause) while we are still crying on their graves," said Wendy Pellegrino, who opposes the Islamic center.

And half way around the world anger on the streets of Kabul today as Afghans protest some of the anti-Islamic sentiments in the U.S., including a small Florida church's plans to burn the holy Koran on the September 11th anniversary.
