A tense situation at an army base in Georgia unfolded earlier today.
Officials at Fort Stewart say a former soldier walked into the Wynn army hospital early this morning carrying four firearms.
Authorities say he's a former soldier who was demanding psychological care.
They say he took three hostages shortly after entering the hospital.
However, one of the nurses was able to talk the man into letting them go and disarming.
Police say thankfully, no one was harmed.
Authorities have not identified the gunman.
It's unclear what charges he may face in the standoff.
