Officials Remind People to be Safe on Water During Weekend
There's no doubt a lot of people are out on the water for Labor Day weekend. Park & Wildlife officials want to remind everyone to be safe.

People are reminded not to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol when operating a boat.
You also want to make sure everyone in your boat is sitting down while it is on the water. Finally, remember to keep your life jacket on anytime you're near the water.
"Without a doubt, is wearing your life jacket. It's the single most important thing," said John Fillingham, US Army Corps of Engineers Park Ranger. "We've never had a death out here when someone was wearing a life jacket. Absolutely, hands down, wear your life jacket at all times."
