A Clarksville, Tennessee councilman is considering quitting after a man's suicide at a meeting.
On Oct. 4, Ronald "Bo" Ward asked the council to rezone his house as commercial to increase the property value.
He said that would allow him to secure a loan to offset debt he incurred when he expanded his barber shop.
When the council voted seven-to-five against the rezoning, Ward took out a handgun and shot himself.
Councilman Marc Harris who voted against the rezoning said he's been bombarded with irate e-mails from citizens.
He says the response from citizens makes him want to resign from the council.
