The funeral for a Tompkinsville teen who was raped and possibly murdered is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon.
This weekend, fourteen-year-old Jodie Pace, a freshman at Monroe County High School, overdosed on prescription drugs. Police say Pace went to a house in rural Monroe County with a girlfriend. The two met up with another woman and forty-three-year-old Billy Melton.
Melton was arrested after police suspect he drugged and raped Pace. Police are also hoping to charge Melton with murder. He is being held at the Monroe County jail on a $100,000 cash bond.
