Well they're off and running at Kentucky Downs in Franklin. Saturday Kentucky Downs officially began its seven-day race season.
Racing will continue Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday until Monday. Workers at Downs says this year has been the most successful with more racers than ever. Saturday marks the highlight of the races with the top race and prize money. Parking and admission to the grandstand is free.
