Students at Bowling Green's Parker-Bennett Elementary School held a special ceremony Wednesday.
They honored local firefighters, police officers, emergency medical technicians, and members of the media. Students from different grades told the audience why they are proud to be Americans through words and pieces of art.
Students sang patriotic songs to show their American spirit.
