A Fort Campbell soldier is charged with a double murder in central Kentucky.
Kentucky State Police say 29-year-old Brent Burke is charged with killing his estranged-wife, 31-year-old Tracy Burke, and her former mother-in-law, 53-year-old Karen Comer.
The two women were found dead in a home in Rineyville after Burke's 9-year-old son called 911.
The boy had told dispatch that he had heard gunfire and that the women weren't moving.
State police are not releasing details about what happened in the home the night of the murder.
Brent Burke is a military police officer at Fort Campbell.
Additional charges are pending.
